Code of Business Conduct

CRH outlines clear guidelines in its Code of Business Conduct (COBC) to help employees put the Group’s fundamental ethical values into practice in their daily activities, such as integrity, honesty, and respect for the law.

CRH’s corporate culture, while global in dimension, is firmly based on the conviction that local management can better understand the needs of all stakeholders through a deep comprehension of its business and culture.

The flexibility to manage and make decisions cultivates a commitment to the important concept that each company is individual yet, at the same time, part of the CRH group. However, this flexible, autonomous business philosophy requires employees to uphold the highest standards of transparency, honesty, integrity, and responsible behavior.

Code of Supplier Conduct

CRH puts business ethics and sustainability at the forefront of all business interactions, including those with our suppliers, recognizing that they are key stakeholders in our success.

We expect our direct and indirect suppliers to share our unwavering commitment to ethical business practices and comply with our standards, including human rights, health and safety, and environmental stewardship.

Commitment to Human Rights – Fight against modern slavery

CRH welcomes the enactment of the UK’s Modern Slavery Act and supports all efforts to fight any violation of human rights.

While most CRH Group companies are not required under the law to publish a Declaration against modern slavery, CRH plc has decided to voluntarily take this initiative as part of its commitment to maintaining sound business ethics.
